Andrew Stephenson, MP for Pendle, is inviting local businesses to get involved in Lancashire Day events at the House of Commons.
Last year for the first time in recent memory Parliament marked Lancashire Day, by bringing together some small food producers, Lancashire County Council, Visit Lancashire and, by no means least, Lancashire Cricket Club and the Championship Trophy to show off what our County has to offer. This year the same will happen, on 27th November, however the hope is the event will be even bigger and better.
Andrew said “Last year’s Lancashire Day event in Parliament was excellent, however there were no Pendle businesses present, something which I am determined to change this year. Last year we had beer and pies from Lancaster and Fleetwood, Cheese and Honey from Garstang, Chocolate from Bury, Biscuits and Cakes from Preston. So I am calling upon Pendle’s businesses, to get involved.”
Interested businesses should e-mail Andrew (andrew.stephenson.mp@parliament.uk) or contact his office in Nelson to register their interest. |
